Captains log: May 2, 2023.
We finished the winter project upgrades to the boat and took Channel Surfing out last weekend for a sea trial to make sure everything works. We are prepping for our upcoming cruise to Southeast Alaska. Everett, WA to Juneau, Alaska, and Glacier bay.
We spent the first night at Cornet Bay (Deception Pass State Park). It's a dock that has no water or electric. The next stop was Shallow Bay, Sucia Island, San Juan Islands, WA. We had gorgeous weather on Saturday anchored in Shallow Bay.
Found two things that need repair. The T bar PVC that we use to carry the dinghy is cracked. The helm seat back cushion has a couple wood screws stripped that'll need repair. Both are minor and easy fixes.
We leave for SE Alaska in 3 weeks!
